Already outside the reserve of Los Huemules and inside a private property (Campo Gorra Blanca). The second part of our excursion consists of skirting the northern margin of Laguna Diablo by an easy but irregular terrain until reaching the beginning of a “VIA FERRATA” (rock climbing sectors of little difficulty that have previously been prepared with Steel wires and artificial steps, so that the passengers move autonomously and self-secured with specially designed harnesses and belts). Before the beginning of this section, the guides will provide participants the necessary equipment and will instruct them to use it correctly and safely. The total course of this section is 1 km, As they advance, the crossing becomes more and more fun transforming this part of the activity into a tour itself . The views of the Laguna Diablo and the River Valley of the same name will improve as we move upwards.
Approximately one hour will take us to the MIRADOR DEL GLACIAR, from there towards the north, we will be able to observe the unexplored Glacier Cagliero Sur
(950 msm), that for years was kept alive thanks to its orientation and the accumulation of snow coming from Cerros Neumayer, Cagliero and Loma del Diablo,
to the south the vertical walls of Cerro Treinta Aniversario. From the viewpoint, a short walk takes us to the front of the Glacier where the guides
distribute and regulate the crampons, to begin the third part of our program that is the ice trekking , if the climate is benign, we will have lunch on the Glacier.  The average stay on the glacier will be approximately 2 hours, depending on the climatic conditions and the physical level of the group.
