.Physical Requirements: Passanger’s  with heart problems or physical mobility and pregnant women are not allowed.
.Self guided walks through the trails of the national park or free time to tour the town.
.Outfit: Sport shoes or trekking boots. Rubber and apres ski boots, as well as high heel shoes are not allowed. Comfortable sports wear, long trousers,
warm sweater or pile, water or windproof jacket, sun glasses, sun block, gloves.

We will walk through "de las Vueltas"river canyon until the Lake, Navigation and hike

 

This is an exclusive expedition that begins at 7:30 am in the morning from Calafate, we will take the mythical Route 40 bordering  Argentino lake, we will cross the  Santa Cruz river (Here we will narrate the experiences of Darwin with Fitz Roy going up this river until very near there), then we will continue until La Leona River, where we will transit through its canyon until arriving  after 1 hour 15 minutes, to the old hotel of route 40 "Paso de la  Leona" (almost a museum of the Route 40), where they will be able to have a coffee with  homemade cakes. From there we will continue bordering Lake Viedma - having the Andes Mountains Range (including the Fitz Roy and the Tower).

Before arriving to the town we will stop in the viewpoint of the Viedma Glacier from where you will be able to appreciate a beautiful panorama of the Glacier, the "Cordillera de los Andes" and the emblematics mounts Fitz Roy and Torre, arriving  to the mountain village of El Chaltén after + - 3 hours of travel, having traveled 220 kms.

 

After visiting the interpretation center and welcoming the park rangers welcome, we will continue in the vehicle until The Pudu Lodge from where passengers can take free walks on the self-guided trails that leave from El Chalten and lead to the most beautiful viewpoints of Fitz Roy or Cerro Torre (Laguna Capri, Torre viewpoint, etc), for which we will advise you on the different options

Depending on your physical condition and we will give you maps of the enabled trails. For lunch we will provide the food for you to carry in your backpack.

Once arrived at the Pudu Lodge, the passengers will be transhipped to another vehicle that will travel the Cañadón of the River of the Vueltas (37 kms.), On the way we will visit the Rio de las Vueltas Falls and the Del desiero Lake (this transfer is done without a guide).

At the end of the tour, passengers will be able to walk along the shores of Lake of the Desert looking for a nice place to have lunch or they can choose

Do the trek to the Lake and Huemul Glacier (90 minutes approx moderate difficulty). Around 4 pm the return to El Chalten begins where they will meet the rest of the group.
